Arun Valley Trek

This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture, many seasoned travellers to Nepal find trekking in this region to be some of the best available.The trek bisects two of Nepals highest mountains, Everest and Makalu a region rarely visited by tourists, it provides some of the best panoramas in Nepal with magnificent views of Mt.Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and Pumori dominating events. Sherpas, Rai and Limbus are the main inhabitants of this region.

We trek north up the Arun river to Sedua and Num, then cross Barun La (4110m.) into the upper Barun khola valley for a close encounter with Makalu.

<p>Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (937m.) and walk up to Kartike ghat then camp at Kartike ghat.</p>

Day 2 :

<p>Trek from Kartike to Gothey. You camp for the night.</p>

Day 3 :

<p>Trek from Gothey to Phedi (1680m). You camp for the night.</p>

Day 4 :

<p>Trek from Phedi to Gurase (2880m). You camp for the night.</p>

Day 5 :

<p>Trek from Gurase to Sanam. You camp for the night.</p>

Day 6 :

<p>Trek from Sanam to Bung (1900m). You camp for the night.</p>

Day 7 :

<p>Trek from Bung to Gaikharka. You camp for the night.</p>

<p>Trek from Gaikharka to Vasme. You camp for the night.</p>

<p>Trek from Vasme to Pangum (2850m). You camp for the night.</p>
