Annapurna Base camp is on of the most famous trekking area for trekkers in Nepal. this is a highly praised and spectacular trekking route which leads to the base camp of Annapurna south. This trekking route as so call the Annapurna sanctuary trek. The route provides an interesting contrast from lower to the outstanding high mountains with breathtaking view of the Annapurna range. Through this trek is not a very difficult one it involves several ascents and descents. The fantastic panoramic view of the Himalayas like Annapurna Himal including Hiunchuli (6441m),Annapurna south (7273m), Fang (7647M), Ganagapurna(7454m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III(7555m) and Machhapuchhare (6979m) are some major attractions to add pleasure for the trekkers in the circuit.
The trekking in that circuit begins From Nayapul which is around one hour drive from phokara . for this route has two option to start trekking you can start through phedi which is 15 minute for from pokhara . Half an hour walk begins from Nayapul to Birethanti situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung river where the route divides. We take the west trail towards Ghorepani , a village situated at the altitude of 2750 m . poonhill located on the way at altitude of 3210m is the view point of this route from poon hill we see booth Dhaulagirei and Annapurna Himalayan rang is unmatchable and unforgettable. The views at sunrise from poon hill are simply amazing . From Ghorepani , the trail leads east to the hamlet of Tadapani and on toward chhomrong ,from where we commence our journey into the Annapurna sanctuary and onwards to Annapurna Base camp. The trekking follows the views of the Himchuli and Machhapuchhre.
